The full-on distorted sound just isn't for me but, that said, there are plenty of guys on youtube that seem to like the dirt sound just fine. The drive sound is best just on the edge - if that is 'your' sound you'll like it. At any rate, the 15R is indeed a lot better. The Pathfinder is a different thing (and I bought one) it is a 15W 8' combo that has great cleans. Maybe it's that 6.5' speaker, or the lower wattage, or the combination of both of those aspects. I didn't spend enough time to say conclusively that the PF10 is toy-like, but that is the way it felt to me at the time.
